She works 8 hours a day, sometimes more because she doesn’t like to leave things pending. At work, she replies to messages, answers calls, sends emails, talks to people constantly, and tries to resolve the day’s unexpected issues.
She comes home very tired and sleeps 6 hours, deeply.
In her dream, she finds herself somewhere between the present and the 1970s. She wears a suit and heels Monday through Friday. At times, a feeling of desire arises.
She brings her work clothes with her. Her elbows block her view. She crawls down to the floor to become a human earthworm next to an orange mushroom. She moves slowly. She reaches a metallic spiderweb, and from her belly button she begins to draw out an elastic silk. A wooded area appears. There is a tunnel. Train tracks are visible. A cloud of white smoke emerges from the tunnel, clouding the space. Then she finds a bronze tangerine. She has the feeling that if there is one, there are many more. There’s a blue jersey. In the distance, a yellow suit hangs from the branches of a dry tree. He has the feeling that the tangerine and the jersey fell from there. When she manages to put on one, the other slips out of her hands.
The alarm on her cell phone goes on, and she hits the snooze button until she wakes up.
It’s a dream she’s had three times.
